| Finding the winning combination halfway through the season, the Titan basketball team won seven of the last nine games to compile a respectable 500 average including a decisive sectional triumph over Delta. The Yorktown Tigers finally bumped out the sophomore sparked North group from the Hoosier Hysteria excitement. Area coaches and sportcasters agreed that North would be the team to beat for years to come. Special honors went to Wes Lyon, Honarary Captain and Most Assists; Kirk McShurley, Most Valuable Player and Most Rebounds; and Scott Wolfe, Best Free Throw Percentage. |
