Appealing to those who are willing to put time, heart, and "guts" into competitive action, the Girls' Athletic Association and Varsity Club were formed to honor participants. Although not possible to be formed until the latter part of the year, the Varsity Club became the foundation stone for North's major athletic program. Under the asupices of Mr. Ervin and Mr. K. Miller, the most recently organized group of "letter" winners and cheerleaders will be a goal for future athletes.
