HONOR SOCIETY Beginning this year with juniors under the sponsorship of Mrs. Carter, the Honor Society featured academic achievement. The members were Phil Adams, David Bantz, Phil Barry, Jolene Boyer, Linda Brady, Annice Church, Carol Coleman, Kathleen Costerison, Anne Danner, Mary Day, Frank Eavey, Connie Edwards, Jeff Edwards, Mary Gruppe, Mark Hesemann, Chriss Hill, Arden Hoover, Coe Huddleston, Bruce Hugon, Janelyn Jackson, Marcus Johnson, Mark Johns, Barb Johnson, Wendy Johnson, Karen Klinedinst, Kris Lemna, Pat Luzadder, Diadra Ohrvall, Tom Peterson, Gretchen Rothhaar, Terry Snyder, Kristi Sprague, Jennifer Stookey, Kent Styles, Martha Thurman, Mary Trenfield, Mary Troyan, Jo Anne Vandegriff, and Cynthia Wojcik. Initiation was held in an impressive ceremony in the auditorium during late spring which was attended by many proud relatives and staff to honor the group which gave NHS leadership in many respects outside the formal classrooms. A reception followed the May 18th program.
